I must say that this is absolutely fantastic.  For many, many years I have wanted to learn good culinary techniques. I am a home cook, my children are all grown up and out cooking for themselves now.  A bit of a shame, not as many guinea pigs to eat my mistakes haha.  Picked up hints from tv shows but never had the opportunity to really learn.  The video tutorials are very exciting and I have already learned so much.  Even proper knife techniques- thank you.

Hello My name is Sean Conley and I am from Northwest Indiana. I am a father of two, husband to a wonderful wife (Molly), a mortgage loan officer, and foodie obsessed with cooking. I am lucky to be so close to Chicago, one of the best food cities in the country, but locally it is challenging to find good food at restaurants and ingredients at grocery stores. I have been cooking for about 5 years and seem to focus mostly on Italian and some French cuisine. Some of the chefs that I admire are Giorio Locatelli, Marcella Hazen, Jaques Pepin, Mario Batali, Thomas Keller, and Todd English.

I have been listening to Stella Culinary/Free Culinary School podcast for quite a while now.  I am really enjoying all the videos being produced currently.  I haven't posted in the forum much so I might as well introduce myself.  I am a mechanical engineering student at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.  I am currently in AZ doing an internship for this semester and summer.  I didn't start cooking until I started college.  I reallized that I wanted to eat good food but I didn't want to go to resturants all the time so I decided to learn how to cook.  I quickly became very pas

Hi All,
My name is Liz Abbott and I am here because I have spent the last 8 years in college for a Masters in Criminal Justice only to find out that I can never do the job. Two years ago I went through Heart Failure and now I am lucky to be able to much of anything, so here I am working on my second passion......FOOD!!!!!
