People have really been enjoying the audio responses to their questions on the forum, and I love making them. Audio is a really great way to have a conversation about cooking or the culinary world in general.

While trying to post a new topic today, I am being directed to a new posting tool that no longer offers any formatting options and doesn't accept photos as the site did previously. After posting my new topic, I tried to "edit" it, but I still got directed to the same tool w/ no formatting options. Is there any way you know that I might access the old set of formatting tools while posting?

Hey there SC community. I just gave the go-ahead to my programmer to start the final transition to our new site design. This means the forum will be down for the weekend, but we should have a shiny-new and much more functional design starting Monday. You can also expect a flood of new content once the new site design hits.

I remember you concluding during the audio podcast on roasting that the ideal way to cook a turkey is to  cook the white meat separately fromthe dark meat because they require different temperatures to be cooked properly.  I made a lot of sense, but you didnt describe how to go about  attempting the process.
