I must say that this is absolutely fantastic. For many, many years I have wanted to learn good culinary techniques. I am a home cook, my children are all grown up and out cooking for themselves now. A bit of a shame, not as many guinea pigs to eat my mistakes haha. Picked up hints from tv shows but never had the opportunity to really learn. The video tutorials are very exciting and I have already learned so much. Even proper knife techniques- thank you. I know I am beginning an exciting new journey in my retirement years. I have always made my own soups (whatever I have on hand) and the stocks and broth series are wonderful. Now they'll be (my soups) superb instead of just 'ok or pretty good'! I've always been adventurous and no fear with trying many various cultures dishes. Seasonings are the most difficult challenge for me personally. So many spices and herbs and not always sure which ones go with what. Can't wait to get started practicing with my newly found and yet to learn, knowledge.
