I have not been able to find out anything about "Stella Stars", their significance and meaning, and (naturally) how and why to attain more of them.  

Any expanations you could provide would be appreciated.

Many thanks for your great website, videos, recipes, techniques, and knowledge.  I am lucky to have found this place to advance my home cooking skills.

Hello All,  
I was wondering... Does anyone have a good lead on rectangle, square or other odd shaped plates that don't cost an arm and a leg? I am trying to bring a little more style to our catering with a few small upgrades. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it!!!

I'm sure THIS sounds less ridiculous to anyone who has actually worked in a restaurant than to outside observers.  Indeed, it's not so much the list that's ridiculous than the fact that someone would have to publish such a list in a job ad AND that other people would think that the requirements are ridiculous.

I think this leads to a more interesting discussion though; how has the advent of the internet (especially social media) changed how you dine out, both good and bad? For example, as a chef, I have a real love/hate relationship with Yelp (or other social review sites), but I'll still use it to track down "good" ethnic food in a new city.

Was just wondering, were the old forum posts migrated here to this forum? Reason I ask is one of the members in the day gave me their family recipe for basic red sauce that I have now adapted as my family sauce. I can not remember the forum members name and would love to give them credit when I pass this recipe along to others as it is the best home made sauce recipe I have ever made. Was just wondering if I still had the option to search back and find this out.
