My name is Ulrich Verstraete, a 43 year old man from Belgium. Dutch is the mother tongue. I am a home-cook with a wide interrest for the culinary event. My favorite cuisine is traditional Italian. I try to integrate the finesse, lightness and honesty of this cuisine with my passion for culinair-BBQ-ing (European style). It was on a BBQ-forum that I came across a link to the StellaCulinary website. I learned more from this site in a month now than from the 30+ cookbooks that are on my bookself. Jacob, keep up the good work of inform and teach the science behind the techniques especialy the fundamental ones.
