Been busy here.
Started my production of making my Christmas packages to mail out and give to friends and relatives. This consist of Tameles, Smoked Turkey's, Bacon,Sausages.
I am behind schedule so needed some comfort food.
I posted this concept earlier this year, but this time I got photo's to share.
Battered chicken on the grill. It would be better if I had appliance called a Vortex for coals, but hey I made do. Piece of oak for a little smoke flavor jus above coals. Put on the lid to my kettle with to vent open 1/2 way.
After fiest flip.. Flip evey 15 minutes. Oak chunk is starting to char some, giving off that light smoke.
On the plate ready to be eaten. Along with the chicken I also grilled fried some battered zucchini. I made up some mashed potato and milk gravy, and well those that know me know I will also have my chili's.
Again Chicken was really moist and skin really crispy as was the battered on the zucchini.
Chicken was grilled until a IT (internal temperature) of 165 F was reached. Zucchini was grilled for about 1/2 hour flipped once. Started face side down then finished on its back.
