My first brioche and what I'd do differently next time

First post in Rich Doughs!

So I tried a brioche today. Here are the links I checked out to get started.
Blog post http://www.kingarthurflour.com/blog/2009/02/22/brioche-bring-it-on/
actual recipe http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/brioche-recipe

So, the two sites didn't really line up very well, but one had a better play by play. Everything worked out swimmingly until the end, when I missed the instructions for the loaf to lower the temp. Double pannign was pretty crucial. I got a little more brown on the bottom than I would have wanted because of the oven temp. Maybe I'll post a picture of it all tomorrow night, but it hasn't turned out quite as photogenic as my other breads.

Overall, hearing people whine about making brioche now seems completely unfounded. It was exactly as the recipe said it would happen, minus my own oversight. I encourage everyone to get out and try it!
