Greetings Jacob and other Stella Culinary users!!!
My name's Iain, and I'm a chef's apprentice up in chilly ol' Canada. I caught the Culinary bug from my Dad, who grew to love cooking through watching the food network when he came to Canada from Scotland.
Where I lived made it hard to find a job in a kitchen since I lived so far away from any town or city, but as soon as the closest kitchen job opened up, I jumped at it, and worked my way out of the dish pit and into the kitchen.
Like most fresh apprentices, I have more book knowledge than experience, but that's why I'm here isn't it? to learn and carry that knowledge to a kitchen, and turn it into experience.
I look forward to learning as much as I can from this site, which looks amazing by the way!!
