Hello fellow food lovers. My Name is Bradley a 46yr old chef from Brisbane . My love is seafood and i love both procuring and preparing it for the table.I hope to be able to contribute in some small way to the forum and also to learn from all and any of you.
Hi Chef. I am excited to be a new member. Have just finished devouring your videos over the last two days. Starting the podcasts during commutes. Plan to go back over each video and practice the technique being taught. Hope to learn how to eventually cook restaurant quality at home without recipes. Also learn how to balance flavors and pair wines. Any thoughts on where and how to learn those skills? Thanks for your great site. Dave from Illinois
Hi everyone! My name is Beth and I stumbled upon this wonderful website while googling for info on sourdough. I am a home cook and also dabble in bread baking - mostly challah and whole grain yeast breads however I recently purchased my first sourdough starter from King Arthur Flour and have cultivated it to a roaring, bubbly "friend." Today I made my first loaves of sourdough and I would say they were a success! I still have so much more to learn, though, and look forward to being part of this community!
I love eating, I work in my family owned tapas bar as a cook which is a lot of fun. This website is a great resource; I've got tons of questions and I'm hoping I'll get good answers here.
Howdy!
My name is Tom, and I love to cook. I'm a home cook who started when I was about 12 years old while my other was going back to school. I'm now 41, and that is a lot of cooking. :)
My name is Drew and I'm a bread fanatic!
I found this site while troubleshooting my sourdough process. WOW am I glad I found you! I went through the "bread school" videos and audios and they solved both of the problems I was having (crumb and level of sour). Amazing what a little knowledge, presented in an informative and easy-to-understand way can do to help lift someone else up! Thanks SO much Jacob!!!
Hello from seattle area
I am so glad i found this site its amazing! I have always loved cooking and thought i was always doing a good job of it.... wow was i wrong, come to find out my every thing was off lol but im starting from step one and finding that i love this even more now. thank you so much.
I stumbled upon this website about six months ago and I have finally stopped lurking and joined the forum. This website has helped me rediscover my passion for cooking. So, after being away from serious cooking for about 15 years, I have dusted off my knife kit and have returned to the kitchen. I've gone from sitting at a desk doing administrative work to full time catering and it has been fun and liberating. Thank you Stella Culinary and Jacob Burton for helping me find the spark again!
