Hello everyone,
My name is Melissa Batista. I am starting out on my journey to become a world renowned chef and restaurateur. I the oldest of 9 children and have been in the kitchen since I was 8 years old. I am enrolling in a chef apprenticeship program in the spring. I am so excited that I stumbled upon this site. Not only will it give me an edge against the others in my class, but from what i have seen it will help lay a great foundation for me to build from. Thank you Chef for creating such a wonderfully inspiring place! Wish you all could have seen my husbands face when i trucked home my 20# bag of potatoes to practice on, it was priceless!!
